PUBG Mobile 2023 eSports Tournaments Schedule: All Details

The eSports competitive scene is booming, particularly for PUBG and PUBG Mobile. Tencent has now made available the entire PUBG Mobile esports schedule for 2023. This year looks to be equally as fantastic as previous years thanks to several intriguing events that are coming up.

Regarding the game’s esports schedule for 2023, James Yang, director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, stated the following:

“Following an excellent start to 2023 with the conclusion of the 2022 PMGC, we’re pleased to share the full schedule of our amazing line-up of pro-tier competitions for this year.

From the PMPL which is due to commence later this month, to the PMGC Grand Finals in December, our competitive ecosystem has never been stronger and we can’t wait to see the reaction from our fans.”

Read ahead to find out all that’s in store for us in the PUBG Mobile competitive scene for this year.

PUBG Mobile Pro League

The Pro League (PMPL), the premier PUBG competition in multiple countries, will start on February 15th, 2023. The PMPL SEA Wild Card, which includes Singapore, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Cambodia, has broadened the tournament’s geographic reach to include more Southeast Asian countries.

The organizers changed the scoring system for the 2023 PUBG Mobile esports season to a 10-point system in order to increase competitiveness and perhaps motivate teams to perform better.

PMPL Spring Split

The PMPL Spring Split will start in February in Southeast Asia. It will then go on to the Americas, North Africa, and South Asia in March, and conclude in May in Arabia.

The timeline for the European region has not yet been made public. The top clubs from each PMPL competition will rematch in their respective regional Championship/Super League.

PUBG Mobile Southern League

The first-ever Southeast Asian partner league (PMSL) will comprise two seasons (Spring and Fall). It is a professional competition amongst teams from the region. This has also been confirmed by Tencent. More information regarding the competition hasn’t yet been made public.

SEA Games

The professional Southeast Asian teams will compete against one another in Cambodia in the 32nd SEA Games in May to defend their nation and compete for the title.

The 2023 Pro League’s Fall Split is set to begin in July for Asian nations. For other places, such as Brazil, Arabia, and North America, it will begin in July and August.

PUBG Mobile World Invitational

The PUBG Mobile World Invitational will be conducted in Riyadh in July. The greatest teams from all around the world will compete in this tournament, featuring two elite teams from Southeast Asia, one team each from South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

Asian Games

The 19th Asian Games includes PUBG Mobile and eight other esports games. It is slated to take place from September 10 to 25.

PMGC 2023

The fourth iteration of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship will take place in November and December 2023. It will have 48 teams from all around the world competing.

There would be 11 squads from Southeast Asia, six from South Asia, six from the Middle East and Africa, and seven from each of Europe and the Americas in this massive battle. The allocation of the tournament’s additional slots will be revealed later.

Teams from all around the world will face intense competition this year since a number of spectacular events are scheduled to take place. It will undoubtedly be a year of exciting, edge-of-the-seat eSports action.
