Months after the ban of Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI, fans are still keen about its return. Players are also still playing the game after the ban and are eager about the new updates and releases. The primary reason that players are still able to play the game is that the servers of BGMI have not been taken down despite the ban. Therefore, BGMI is not available on the App Store or the Play Store for download. But players who have already downloaded the game can continue to play.
This may seem like a solution to the woes of fans missing the game. However, an issue arises owing to the lack of BGMI in the App Store and Play Store. This is the dearth of updates in the game. Prior to the ban, BGMI received all the updates that its global counterpart, PUBG Mobile received. This meant that BGMI players would not miss out on any of the new and exciting features that were brought into PUBG Mobile. However, since the game cannot be updated, BGMI has not been receiving these new features.
BGMI 2.3 Update
The 2.2 updates, which was supposed to be released in September, did not appear in Battlegrounds Mobile India. This was the first time since the game’s release that an update was released for PUBG Mobile, but not in BGMI. The version 2.3 update was released recently for PUBG Mobile users. Indian gamers were eagerly awaiting one for Battlegrounds Mobile India as well. The PUBG Mobile 2.3 update brought in features like the Football Carnival and Lionel Messi collaboration and the new Aftermath 2.0.
However, the 2.3 updates did not come as well. Additionally, the Cycle 3 Season 7 has been reintroduced. The Royale Pass part has also yet to be unlocked. It is thus safe to conclude that the BGMI 2.3 upgrade will not be released. Players will have to wait until the game is reintroduced in the country to receive any more updates. It is strongly urged that players do not compromise their security by downloading fake APKs for the 2.3 updates that are being circulated around the internet.
