Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, booked their place in the semi-finals after a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Bournemouth. After being 0-1 down, The Cityzens, staged a remarkable turnaround in the 2nd half to secure a win. Goals from Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush sealed the deal for Manchester City.
The 7-time FA Cup winners will be pitted against Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals. Nottingham Forest defeated Brighton in penalties to give a heartbreak to the Brighton fans.
The other semi-final will be contested between Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. Crystal Palace outclassed Aston Villa 3-0 and the goals were scored by Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah.
On the other hand, Aston Villa sealed a place in the semi-finals after beating Preston 3-0. Marcus Rashford netted a brace and the other goal was scored by Jacob Ramsey.
Both semi-final matches will be held at the iconic Wembley Stadium, continuing a tradition that began in 2008. The fixtures are set for the weekend of April 26-27, 2025.
