Real Madrid vs PSG

PSG punched above their weight in a solid and exciting clash in the semi-finals of the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup 2025, to cement their place in the finals. The French club decimated the Spanish heavyweights and sent shivers down the spines of the Madrid fans.

A scoreline of 4-0 underlines grit, dominance and resolve – and all these traits were embodied by the PSG players, when they hit the ground running at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.

Fabian Ruiz netted a brace while the other two goals were scored by Ousmane Dembele and Goncalo Ramos. The 3 players conjured magic in New Jersey and helped PSG to cruise to the finals.

Ruiz had opened the goal-scoring account in the 6th minute of the game itself and had put pressure on Los Blancos. More than 80,000 fans were in attendance at New Jersey and it was a contrast of emotions for the two set of fans.

Real Madrid defenders were sloppy on the mark and they kept shooting themselves on their feet.

PSG were aggressive from the word go

The strikers of PSG kept the defenders at bay with their quick pace, agile movement and their constant high-press. The high-press made life extremely uncomfortable for the Real Madrid defenders and they conjured magic at the field.

Plenty of mistakes from the defenders of Real Madrid and PSG have now achieved the unthinkable.

They will now be facing Chelsea in the finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 on 13th July 2025 at the same venue.

Chelsea had outclassed Fluminense, 2-0 in their semi-finals. Joao Pedro had hogged the limelight in this game for his stellar performance. He netted 2 goals and made sure that The Blues, cruise to the finals.

While Chelsea are gunning for their second title, having won their first title in 2021, PSG would be looking to win their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup title.
