One of the most talented midfielders of our generation, Paul Pogba plays for Juventus and for the France national football team. The former Manchester United player suffered an injury ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and missed the grand event. Even though he went through a surgery, he could not be available for the World Cup.
After France reached the final of the World Cup in Qatar, French President Emmanuel Macron wanted the players who missed out on the tournament to go and watch the final of the showpiece event. However, fate has something else in store for Paul Pogba.
The flight duration from Paris to Qatar is around 6.5-7 hours and that is a long flight. According to reports, Juventus is not keen on sending their player to such a long flight. They feel that Paul Pogba’s rehabilitation process will get affected and he will be missing out on the matches for the Turin-based club.
Juventus will next be facing Cremonese in the Serie A after the Christmas and New Year break. Paul Pogba is an integral part of Juventus and his services will be of maximum importance to the Turin-based club.
Paul Pogba wished the French team through a voice message
Even though the 29-year-old midfielder is not physically present with the France football team, he has been showering in words of support and unconditional love.
“Together! I am with you. I give you all my strength. All my strength has this group there. That’s my band, that’s my guys,” said Paul Pogba via a voice message.
France has a great chance of winning their 3rd FIFA World Cup title and thereby successfully defend their title. Notably, France had defeated Croatia in the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2018 which took place in Russia. The score-line read 4-2 and Paul Pogba had netted a goal in the final.
France will be taking on Argentina on 18th December 2022 at the Lusail Stadium. The final will commence from 8:30 PM (IST).
