An unfortunate header from the Spanish attacking midfielder in the 31st minute resulted in the Men of Steel taking the lead in the game. Aidy Boothroyd’s men came with renewed energy and willpower in this game as they were desperate to change things around.
Jamshedpur FC broke their 7-match losing streak but they would be gutted to lose 2 crucial points. The Men of Steel are in the 10th position in the ISL 2022-23 points table presently and every game is a do-or-die game for them, if they are to stay within the top 6. In ISL 2022-23, the 5th and the 6th placed teams will be getting a chance to qualify for the semi-finals. This is according to the new format of the ISL, which has been enforced on from this edition.
Ishan Pandita was in fine form for Jamshedpur FC
Ishan Pandita netted the 2nd goal for Jamshedpur FC in the 50th minute. The 24-year-old striker is one of the best talents present in our country presently and he has a long way to go. Rubbing shoulders with the talismanic striker of India Sunil Chhetri in the Indian football team, Pandita has been blossoming into a matured, reliable and exemplary footballer.
