Fortnite

After Fortnite was removed from the App Stores, many fans of the game felt that they would not be able to play the game on iOS ever again.

However, it has become possible to play Fortnite in 2023 on an iPhone or iPad, quite easily as well.

The well-known battle royale video game is still playable on iOS devices even if Apple removed it from the App Store, enabling players to enjoy the game without any problems.

It’s quite doubtful that the battle royale game from Epic Games will make an official comeback to the App Store anytime soon.

Since Epic Games’ lawsuit against Apple was unsuccessful, the game is now permanently barred from the App Store for a period of five years.

Fortnite can now be played on iPhones and iPads with the help of a simple workaround.

How to download Fortnite on iOS

It’s crucial to note that Fortnite cannot be downloaded via the App Store. Although there are various copies of the game accessible, iOS devices cannot download the official version of the game.

Fortnite can only currently be played on an iPhone or iPad in 2023 with the use of cloud gaming providers.

Although Xbox Cloud Gaming is another option, you can rather use Nvidia’s GeForce Now because of its simpler accessibility.

Follow these instructions in order to play the game on your iOS device:

Create an account with GeForce Now.

The most popular cloud gaming service at the moment is GeForce Now, which is also available for free.

You must create an Nvidia account on the official GeForce Now website before you can proceed.

Your membership tier will need to be chosen during the registration procedure. You must choose the RTX 3080 tier if you want to play Fortnite with the highest graphics setting and 120 frames per second. Thankfully, the ‘free tier’ is more than enough to allow you to play the game on an iPhone or iPad.

You must add the app to your Home Screen after choosing a membership tier when creating a GeForce Now account. Just click the Share icon in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen to do this.

This will add a new app to your Home Screen that will enable you to play video games directly from your smartphone via the cloud.

Open the app and begin playing Fortnite

You must open the new app and choose Fortnite. Since the game allows for cross-progression, you may also connect your already-existing Epic Games account via the app.

It should be noted that there is often a backlog for GeForce Now’s free tier. This implies that each gaming session is restricted to an hour and that you may sometimes have to wait up to 30 minutes to begin a game.

Paid tiers, on the other hand, don’t have any waiting lists and let you play Fortnite anytime you want on an iPhone or iPad.

Longer gameplay sessions are available in both paid tiers, and Nvidia’s RTX technology enhances the game’s visual appeal on Apple devices.
