As part of Mojang’s 15th anniversary celebration, a free map that chronicles the development of the sandbox game Minecraft is one of the newest gifts.
Callbacks to Minecraft’s past may be found around every corner as players solve puzzles, play minigames with pals, and explore the game’s historical museum on the 15th Anniversary Map.
To access the in-game marketplace and play this free level, players must have a copy of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Although downloading and using the map is a very straightforward process, here are more details for your reference.
As previously mentioned, Bedrock Edition must be purchased in order to view the 15th Anniversary map. This can be done on an iOS or Android mobile device, a console, or a Windows computer.
In order to download the map, players must be logged into the game using their Microsoft account credentials. If necessary, it can be reinstalled at a later time.
Minecraft 15th Anniversary Map
The following instructions will allow players to download and play the 15th Anniversary map:
- Launch Bedrock Edition, log in if required, and then launch the Minecraft Marketplace.
- If the marketplace’s first page does not have the 15th Anniversary map, you can also search for “15 Year Journey” using the form located in the upper right corner of the marketplace.
- Open the store page for the map in either case.
- Click the “free” button located on the right of the window. Click “download” once the purchase procedure is complete. You’ll get another prompt, so press the download button once more. A brief download tracker will show up and then vanish after the procedure is complete.
- Click the “create this world!” button that should have taken the place of the download button if you want to start playing the map right away.
- You can now select whatever parameters you want to use and click either the “create” or “create on Realm server” buttons to finish the process.
