Despite its 2009 release, Microsoft, the game’s publisher, has continued to add new features and choices, such as a subscription service akin to Game Pass, to keep the immensely popular game Minecraft alive.

A brief teaser trailer for an animated Minecraft series that will debut on Netflix “soon” has been revealed.

The highly anticipated Minecraft animated series was revealed at the celebration of the game’s 15th anniversary. It will have new characters, an original plot, and a fresh perspective on the Minecraft universe.

The renowned computer game, which has been around since 2009, is getting an animated makeover thanks to a collaboration between Netflix and Mojang Studios.

Kids in the 1990s were drawn to this entertaining and instructive game that had a Lego-inspired design. An animated series seems exciting right now!

The CG-animated series will be produced by WildBrain, the same company that brought you Sonic Prime, Ninjago: Dragons Rising, and Carmen Sandiego on Netflix.

In celebration of the video game’s fifteenth anniversary, the animated TV series called Minecraft was revealed on May 30. It will have a unique plot and brand-new Minecraft characters.

The brief teaser clip presents the most recognizable character from the series – a Creeper – on screen before exploding.

The Netflix logo is perched on a rock in a cave that is accessed by the camera moving through streams of lava in the Nether, with the noises of other Minecraft monsters like spiders and zombies playing in the background.

Then “Netflix x Minecraft” shows up on the screen, with “animated series” and “coming soon” following. Although the exact timing of this “soon” is unknown, Netflix history suggests it might take up to two years.
