With the release of the Kung Fu Panda DLC, which Mojang and Dreamworks announced on April 16, 2024, Minecraft is extending its crossovers with popular cultural works.
Players may engage in single or cooperative kung fu action in the downloadable DLC, which immerses them in the made-up universe of the Kung Fu Panda series.
It features an intricately drawn terrain and enemies that players must defeat through close quarters battle.
The Kung Fu Panda DLC is a Bedrock Edition adventure map that can be bought on the Minecraft Marketplace. It was made for consoles, Windows PCs, and mobile devices.
But unlike many adventure maps that are crowdsourced, there are many of things to do and explore in this Kung Fu Panda DLC.
Minecraft x Kung Fu Panda DLC
Players who get the Kung Fu Panda DLC from the Minecraft Marketplace assume the role of a novice martial arts student. They start their journey for mastery by ascending the stairs of the Jade Palace, where they will meet Po the Dragon Warrior and train in the Kung Fu Panda training hall to study the martial arts (and the arts of skadoosh).
Players practice with the legendary Furious Five, Master Shifu, and Zhen in the Minecraft X Kung Fu Panda DLC.
In addition, players may explore Panda Village, discover the several hidden cookies that Monkey has hidden, and enjoy the flavors of Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop.
It is also possible to locate and bring back antiquated items to the Hall of Warriors.
Players will need to employ their newly acquired kung fu talents to beat Tai Lung, General Kai, and Lord Shen—as well as other wicked opponents of Po—in original boss fights and teach them a lesson about jeopardizing global peace.
The Kung Fu Panda DLC includes all of these activities in addition to a meticulously designed adventure map with stunning scenery, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path locations.
Additionally, Mojang has included a complimentary Dragon Warrior helmet cosmetic item that can be obtained via the Character Creator in honor of the release of the Kung Fu Panda DLC.
The availability of this complimentary cosmetic is limited until May 16, 2024.
