After four years with Nova Esports, beloved PUBG Mobile player Paraboy has joined JD Esports. At a hefty transfer price of about $759,000 (₹6.34 crore), the club signed him.
The two Global Championships are among the many prestigious prizes that the veteran has amassed. He will play in the next PEL 2024 Summer with the new flag after a long absence.
With a big fan base all around the world, Paraboy is maybe the most popular player on PUBG Mobile. After showcasing his exceptional abilities in Chinese and international competitions, he became well-known.
In 2021, he was also the recipient of the prestigious Esports Awards’ Esports Mobile Player of the Year award.
JD Esports hopes to win the forthcoming PEL 2024 Summer with this deal.
Since its founding, the club has had difficulties, and throughout the past four years, it has not won any significant championships.
Paraboy’s PUBG Mobile Journey
Since entering the scene at the beginning of 2019, he has accomplished an incredible feat in the last five years. Over 2,000 eliminations have come from him in the regional PEL competitions.
With XQF, the celebrity started his esports career. He caught everyone’s attention during the 2019 PMCO Spring Split Global Finals. In this international tournament, his club made it to the second round.
The following year, XQF won the Global International Summer and took first place runner-up in the PEL. In the PEC 2019, which included the top teams from across the globe, his team came out on top.
In each of these competitions, Paraboy was instrumental in helping his club establish a global reputation.
Midway through 2020, Nova Esports bought XQF, and it turned out to be the perfect decision as the team went on to win the PEL Season 2.
Jimmy led the lineup to victory in the PEC 2020, adding yet another major championship to their collection. The standout individual competitor in this competition was Paraboy.
