The dates of the PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup (PMWC) 2024 are set for July 19 – 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 28 teams in all, selected from a variety of events, will compete in this major event with a $3 million prize fund.
The second worldwide PUBG Mobile competition of the year is this one. There will be matches between several elite teams.
Only three teams – Duksan, Tianba, and TJB – have confirmed their participation in the competition thus far. Teams are competing in numerous regional events to earn spots in the World Cup.
PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024
Three rounds – the Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Main Stage—will be played in the PMWC.
Group Stage : July 19 to 21
Twenty-four teams will compete in the first round, which lasts three days. Three groups, each consisting of eight teams, will be formed.
The top 12 teams from the overall standings will advance to the Main Stage, with the remaining teams going to the Survival Stage.
Survival Stage : July 23 and 24
There will be sixteen teams competing over the two days, twelve from the previous round and four direct invitees.
The top four finishers from the 12 matches will advance to the Main Stage. The PMWC 2024 will see the bottom 12 teams eliminated.
Main Stage : July 26 to 28
Sixteen teams from the earlier stages will compete in the third and final stage of the World Cup over the course of three days. In eighteen bouts, they will face off against one another.
There will be 28 teams competing from all around the world. The World Cup slot distribution is as follows:
- Southeast Asia – 6 teams
- Central and South Asia – 5 teams
- EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) – 5 teams
- Americas – 4 teams
- South Korea – 1 team
- Japan – 2 teams
- China – 2 teams
- PMRC South Korea and Japan event – 1 team
- Special Invite – 2 teams
