KKR vs RCB head-to-head

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has been a rollercoaster ride for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) so far.

As these two teams gear up to face each other in match 36 of the tournament, let’s take a closer look at their head-to-head records and their performances in the ongoing season.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR):

KKR has had a strong start to IPL 2024, winning four out of their six matches and currently sitting in second place on the points table.

Under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, KKR has shown great resilience and determination.

In their recent matches, KKR’s batting has been led by the likes of Sunil Narine, who scored a magnificent century in one of the matches, and Shreyas Iyer himself, who has been consistent with the bat.

However, there have been concerns about the team’s over-reliance on certain players, and KKR will be looking for other batsmen to step up and contribute more consistently.

On the bowling front, KKR has relied heavily on Sunil Narine, who has been impressive with both bat and ball.

However, the rest of the bowling unit will need to raise their game and provide better support to Narine to maintain their winning momentum.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB):

RCB, on the other hand, has had a tough time in IPL 2024 so far. With just one win in seven matches, they find themselves at the bottom of the points table.

Led by Faf du Plessis, RCB has struggled to find form and consistency.

Despite the brilliance of du Plessis and Virat Kohli with the bat, RCB’s bowling has been a major concern.

The bowlers have been expensive, and RCB will need to tighten up their bowling unit if they are to turn their fortunes around in the tournament.

In their previous encounters, RCB has shown glimpses of their potential, and they will be hoping to build on those performances and secure a much-needed win against KKR.

KKR vs RCB Head-to-Head Record:

In the history of the IPL, KKR and RCB have faced each other 33 times, with KKR holding the upper hand with 19 wins compared to RCB’s 14.

Total – 33
