The fans also raised their voice before the 1st ODI kicked-off. A small group of fans hooted against Adani Group on the outskirts sharing their message across the globe. The controversial instance happened in the 7th over of the match before Indian pacer Navdeep Saini was going to bowl his over.

The protesters were quite quick to reach the ground as they easily breach the on-ground security. And, the guards were quite slow to interrupt and escort those protesters out of the ground.

Coming onto the game, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. The hosts got off the mark with a dream opening stand and the Indian bowlers have so far failed to grab their first wicket.
