He was dismissed by his KXIP teammate Glenn Maxwell. Virat Kohli, who came out to bat at number three, played aggressively against the hosts. He soon got settled on the wicket and started smashing Aussie bowlers for boundaries.
From another batting end, Shikhar Dhawan was in a different mood. He scored three smoky boundaries before getting dismissed by Aussie spinner Mitchell Swepson. The instance happened in the 9th over of the innings. The southpaw was looking for a boundary off the youngster. Shikhar’s eyes lit up after watching a short delivery and he went for a pull stroke.
Daniel Sams, who was standing in the deep, ran some steps towards his left and took a full stretch dive in order to grab that important catch. The host fielder juggled the ball once before taking that world-class catch to dismiss Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan. Even the spectators were shocked after witnessing an unbelievable catch by Sams.
