Rohit Sharma touched a big milestone during his small knock of 26 runs and became the first player to smash 100 sixes against Australia. Shubhman Gill did well and supported his senior partner. He pulled off his maiden fifty in international cricket. Everything looked well in favor of visitors before they were dismissed by Aussie pacer Pat Cummins and Josh Hazelwood.

At the end of Day-2, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara went back to the pavilion safely without losing their wickets. The Rohit-Labuschagne instance happened when the former was on the strike to face the host bowler. The Aussie international asked Rohit Sharma about what he did in quarantine. But, Rohit himself was well focussed on his batting and didn’t waste his time in giving a reply to the host fielder.
