SRH suffers a massive blow as their star pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. He has been the vital cog of Sunrirsers Hyderabad’s bowling unit for a long. This season is turning out to be a difficult one for the former champions and this is their second player to get ruled out from the whole season after Aussie all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.

The orange army lost the first couple of games in IPL 2020 before returning onto the winning track. But, at the beginning of the tournament, they were dealt with a big blow after Mitchell Marsh sustained an ankle injury. He could bowl only 4 balls before he was struck by a massive blow. Soon, SRH announced his replacement and called Jason Holder.

Now, they seem to be in trouble after Bhuvneshwar Kumar being ruled out from the tournament. This season SRH is already struggling with its bowling department. In the previous game, Siddarth Kaul replaced Bhuvi in the playing 11. But, he failed to perform fill the void in the side. He gave 64 runs off his 4 over spell.

The Indian pacer sustained an injury during the 19th over against Chennai Super Kings. The physio came out on the ground and tried his best. But, Bhuvi was in such pain that he couldn’t complete his over. This season in 4 games, the Indian pacer bowled with an economy rate of 6.98 and grabbed 3 wickets.

SRH will lock horns with Kings XI Punjab in the upcoming affair at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on October 8. It will be interesting to watch if SRH will announce Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s replacement or not.

DC has also joined the bandwagon after their experienced spinner Amit Mishra got ruled out from the season. He sustained a finger injury in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders. During his first over, in an attempt to grab a blinder, he injured his finger. Now, he will watch the season from the sidelines.
