Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) have once again stamped their authority in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The Hardik Pandya led side topped the IPL 2023 points table after the round-robin stage and have now qualified for the finals.
They will be gearing up to lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 29th May 2023. It will be taking place at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and is slated to begin from 7:30 PM (IST).
If Gujarat win the title in this year, they will be the 3rd team to successfully defend their title. Chennai Super Kings had done this in IPL 2011 after winning IPL 2010 too. Mumbai Indians (MI) had won two back-to-back titles in IPL 2019 and IPL 2020.
Gujarat Titans have had some spectacular performances from their players. They played exceedingly well and helped the side win 10 matches out of 14 in the round-robin stage.

1. Sai Sudarshan
The young and dynamic batter Sai Sudarshan had a good outing in IPL 2023. He has played 7 games and has amassed 266 runs at an incredible average of 44.33. Sai Sudarshan is just 21-years-old and has a lot of potential in him.
He has found an excellent team in Gujarat Titans, which will mould and shape him for the future. It will not be long before we see Sai Sudarshan in the colours of the Indian cricket team.
2. Vijay Shankar
One of India’s most talented all-rounders, Vijay Shankar had a memorable IPL 2023. Even though he was used as a batter, he proved that his mettle and showcased his capabilities. In IPL 2023, Vijay Shankar emerged out as an impactful player of Gujarat, by all means.
Vijay Shankar has scored 301 runs in 10 innings and has been an integral part of Gujarat Titans in this campaign. His performances will be crucial in the high-voltage finals of IPL 2023.
3. Noor Ahmad
Afghanistan produces some of the best spinners in the world and they have produced another gem in the form of Noor Ahmad. The 18-year-old spinner bowls left-arm unorthodox spin and played a crucial role for Gujarat Titans.
Along side his fellow countryman and one of the best T20 players in the world presently Rashid Khan, Ahmad had a good IPL 2023. In 12 matches, he has picked up 14 wickets and has grabbed several eyeballs.
