Mumbai Indians started their IPL 2023 season poorly with two consecutive losses, but they have now won three consecutive matches, including a victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 18th in Hyderabad. MI batted first and scored a massive 192/5, thanks to impressive performances from Cameron Green and Tilak Varma.
In response, SRH were all out for 178 in 19.5 overs, with Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith, and Piyush Chawla taking two wickets each. Arjun Tendulkar also bowled well, giving up only 18 runs in 2.5 overs and bowling perfect yorkers at the death. Following his excellent performance, Mumbai Indians released a video of Arjun practicing his yorkers.
In his second IPL match, Arjun was given the task of defending 20 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final over with Abdul Samad and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
