Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered their 6th victory in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as they cruised to a 7-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 29th April 2024. Shreyas Iyer and co. are firmly rooted to the 2nd position and have a superior run-rate of +1.096.
With this win, KKR complete a double over DC in IPL 2024, with their first win coming on 3rd April 2024. It was a mammoth 106-run victory at Visakhapatnam. DC were hapless in the game and were dominated by the KKR players.
KKR ticked both the boxes in the batting and the bowling department and made sure that they go to a commanding position in the ongoing tournament.

Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer didn’t take a lot of risks when KKR were in the driver’s seat of the game. The skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders scored 33* runs in 23 balls and his knock was peppered with 3 fours and 1 six and he had a strike-rate of 143.48.
Iyer put his captaincy skills into good fruition and made sure that his team gets their 6th victory in this season.
