Kolkata Knight Riders registered a thumping 98-run victory against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 54 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The Knights went on top of the points table courtesy their resounding performance at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow.
Batting first, KKR scored 235 runs and it was Sunil Narine who once again went all guns blazing and provided a solid start to the 2-time IPL champions. Good and handy knocks from Phil Salt, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ramandeep Singh ensured that KKR reach to a competitive total.
In response, LSG were bundled out for 137 runs at their home turf. This win once again highlighted the dominance of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024.
