As we draw curtains to an electrifying Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, we applaud the plethora of talent that we witnessed in the past 2.5 months. The IPL 2025 once again provided a platform for the youngsters to showcase their skills and prove their mettle in front of the world.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) etched history as they outclassed Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the finals to lift the title for the first time. Virat Kohli became extremely emotional as he finally achieved this lifelong dream of his in front of a packed cricket stadium at Ahmedabad.
Rajat Patidar became the first RCB captain to power his side to an IPL title and he has his name engraved in the annals of IPL history. Virat himself tried for several years but couldn’t cross the final frontier- as we saw in IPL 2016.
IPL 2025 was an amalgamation of drama, entertainment and dreams. There were a lot of historic moments whilst also having some incredible underdog stories. Several youngsters hogged the limelight and announced their arrival in style.
2 teams that hadn’t lifted the title all these years had paved their way to the IPL finals. And eventually, it was RCB who lifted the title. The emotions that we saw at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad when the final delivery was bowled was unbelievable.
This season in the IPL definitely didn’t follow the script and it went rogue! Such was the drama that up until the last couple of overs in IPL 2025, we weren’t sure as to who will be lifting the prestigious title.
Shashank Singh tried his level best to help Punjab realise their dreams but his valiant knock of 61* runs in 30 balls went in vain. He didn’t receive able support from the other end.
