Pooran came in to bat number 3 and stitched a 87-run partnership with Mitchell Marsh, who himself was in song. The Ozzie all-rounder smashed a knock of 72 runs in 36 balls and his innings was peppered with 6 fours and 6 sixes.
KL Rahul missed the opening game of DC
DC’s most popular recruit, KL Rahul, missed the first game of IPL because he was on paternity leave. On the same day on 24th March 2025, KL Rahul and his spouse, Athiya Shetty, a Bollywood actress, was blessed with a baby girl.
KL Rahul previously has captained the Lucknow Super Giants franchise and took the franchise to the playoffs in both IPL 2022 and IPL 2023.
