Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are going through a very rough patch in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. They have struggled so far in IPL and trying to get back at their best with the bat. Recently, former Indian coach Ravi Shastri urged Virat Kohli to take a small break from competitive cricket. Meanwhile, the same is the case with Rohit Sharma, who is currently an all format skipper in India and also leading the IPL franchise.

Many former cricketers and pundits have requested BCCI to offer Virat Kohli a much-needed break. Now, former Indian selector and cricketer Sandeep Patil has joined the bandwagon. Virat Kohli currently has an average of 16 in the ongoing edition and Rohit Sharma also does not have one of the best editions with the bat.

I am not saying it is happening at the right time as I would have said that when India starts playing, then he should come back to form. But IPL is equally important. I don’t see any worries. I am not saying a break of one month but a couple of games,” Patil told News 18 Cricketnext.
