Delhi Capitals are currently positioned at number seventh position in the league table of IPL 2022. They lost their previous game to Lucknow Super Giants and now they will be looking to grab a victory in order to get back on the track. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant, the skipper of Delhi Capitals has been spotted playing football with junior Pointing i-e- Fletcher Ponting.
Rishabh Pant Plays Football With Junior Ponting
The season has so far not gone well for the Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. He has not scored well this season due to which DC has found themselves struggling. In the previous game, he showed a glimpse of his brilliant performance. But, he failed in getting his side over the line in a close game against Lucknow Super Giants.
In the mid of the season, Rishabh Pant took out some time from the training session and played football with Ricky Ponting’s son. The southpaw was left amazed after watching the football skills of Fletcher Ponting. DC social media team took to their handle and shared a post with a clip attached to it, “Just two friends vibing over football. We can’t get enough of #RP17 and Fletcher Ponting playing together.”
Fletcher did really well blocking Pant from playing a good kick. Towards, the end of the video, he was spotted playing long shorts toward Rishabh Pant.
Coming to IPL 2022, DC will now play their next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 5th May. It is going to be a crucial game from the Delhi Capitals’ perspective in order to keep their hopes for playoff qualification alive.
