Ashutosh Sharma: Early Life and Struggles

Ashutosh Sharma was born in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, in September 1998. At the age of ten, he left his family in pursuit of his cricketing dreams, moving to Indore. 

His father, a compounder at a government hospital, supported Ashutosh’s passion, and his sacrifices bore fruit when he was selected for the state U16 team in 2012.

During his formative years in cricket, Ashutosh faced several challenges. To save money for lunch, he took up umpiring in local matches while playing for the MP state U19 team. 

He also shouldered all his household chores to instill discipline and dedication towards his cricketing career.

Ashutosh Sharma: Cricketing Career

Ashutosh’s cricketing journey has been a testament to his perseverance. Despite initial setbacks, including not making it to the U19 team, he continued to push himself. 

He eventually earned a spot in the U23 side and later played in the senior MP team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

In 2019, Ashutosh made significant strides, scoring hundreds against Tamil Nadu and Delhi in the U23 category.
