Jason Holder had a memorable 5th T20I against England as he grabbed four wickets in four balls. He also joins Lasith Malinga, Rashid Khan, and Curtis Campher as the only other bowlers to have taken double hat-tricks or four-in-four in T20 internationals. The West Indies all-rounder was awarded Man of The Match for his brilliant performance against the visitors.

West Indies scored 179 runs for a loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Brandon King, K Mayers, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, and Rovman Powell contributed well with the bat and guided their side to a respectable total. From England, Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone only took wickets in the game.

Jason Holder on fire

At one point it looked like an easy chase for the power-packed batting line-up of West Indies. However, Jason Holder emerged as one of the big obstacles for the visitors. His impressive show with the ball turned the game in a span of just four balls.

He dismissed Chris Jordan, Sam Billings, Adil Rashid, and Saqib Mahmood on four consecutive deliveries clearing England’s batting line-up in the game. The right-handed all-rounder becomes the fourth bowler on the planet to take four wickets on four balls in a recorded game.

Earlier, Lasith Malinga had taken four wickets in four balls against New Zealand back in 2019. Later on, Neil Wagner went on to do so in a game between Otago against Wellington in a Plunket Shield Trophy.

In the end, West Indies won the game by 17 runs and clinched the T20I series against England by 3-2. It was a memorable night for Jason Holder and a performance that might help him earn big bucks in the IPL 2022 mega-auction
