Cricketers React as Kieron Pollard bids adieu to international cricket

West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard bid adieu to international cricket on Wednesday and he informed about the same through his social media account. The star all-rounder played 123 ODIs, and 101 T20Is for West Indies and scored 2706 runs and 1569 runs.

Kieron Pollard made his international debut back in 2007 against South Africa. He came with a reputation as a big hitter and dominated international cricket with his hard-hitting skills. Towards, the fag end of his cricket career, Pollard is still one of the most demanded cricketers in franchise cricket.

He is currently playing for Mumbai Indians in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. He has got some good starts in the tournament but has failed to convert them into a good knock. It is mostly expected that Kieron Pollard will soon click a good knock with the bat.

The star player took to his Instagram handle and shared a post that read, “Hi all, after careful deliberation, I have decided to retire from international cricket. It was a dream of mine to play for West Indies since I was a 10-year-old boy and I am proud to represent the West Indies for over 15 years in T20 and ODI format of the game.”

West Indies cricketer received wishes from every nook and corner for having a successful international cricket career. He also got greeted by Universe Boss, who posted a cheerful message, “Can’t believe you retired before me @KieronPollard55 Anyway-Congratulations on your international career…it was great playing alongside you. Happy Retirement…All the best in your next chapter @KieronPollard55#Respect.”
