The IPL 2023 auction scheduled to take place on December 23 in Kochi, Kerala. A total of 405 players were shortlisted to be auctioned at the IPL 2023 auction.

With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction approaching, speculation is rife over who the youngest players to go under the hammer will be. As the IPL has become the go-to destination for young cricketers looking to make it big, it has seen many prodigies go under the hammer, some of whom have gone on to become world-class players.

The auction will also see many other young international players making their IPL debuts. Players like Ben Stokes and Sam Curran are expected to be among the most sought-after foreign players. Know the 3 youngest player to be auctioned off for IPL 2023. 

Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar – 15 years

The forthcoming IPL 2023 mini-auction will feature the youngest player ever, 15-year-old Afghanistan’s Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar. He is a right arm off-spinner.

In three T20 games of the, Ghazanfar has taken 5 wickets, with a best of 4/15. Some franchises may have shortlisted Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar for the auction because they believe he is the next Rashid Khan or Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

The  Indian U19 star may be the target of some teams for the proper purpose. Other teams like CSK might consider Dinesh to be a commodity for the future. As a result, the youngster is likely to receive several offers. 

Sakib Hussain – 18 years

The 18-year-old right-arm medium pace bowler Sakib Hussain, recently made his SMAT debut for Bihar and claimed a 4-wicket haul in just his second SMAT T20 encounter. It has been discovered that Hussain can swing the ball off the field and has the ability to apply cunning variations. 

Quality Indian pacers have always drawn attention in the IPL auction; if franchises believe Sakib Hussain has a promising future based on information from their scouts, they may make an offer for the young man.
