The IPL 2023 auction took place on December 23, in Kochi, with some of the biggest buys like Curran, Stokes and Green, there are some big players who remained unsold. This year’s auction saw an unprecedented number of high-profile players go unsold. 

Adam Zampa, an Australian leg-spinner who formerly played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Shakib Al Hasan, a former member of Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad, were both remain unsold during the IPL 2023 auction in Kochi on Friday. 

Joe Root, the captain of England’s test team, and Rilee Rossouw, South Africa’s T20 expert, were also passed over by none of the ten franchises. Kusal Mendis from Sri Lanka also had no takers. Know the top 5 players who remain unsold in IPL 2023 auction.
