On Friday, December 23, in Kochi, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction is scheduled to take place. The 10 franchises will finalise their squads for the 16th IPL season. A maximum of 87 slots will be available in the mini-auction, including slots for 30 foreign players to compete in the league.
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are gearing up for the IPL 2023 auction. The Royals are busy assembling a squad that is capable of challenging for the title. They will target all-rounders in the forthcoming IPL 2023 auction after releasing their international contingent in advance of the auction.
With only Rs 13.2 crore available, they have an excessive number of positions to fill. RR has been successful even with cheap purchases, thus they must be wise while making player purchases throughout the auctions.
