Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) hitter Chris Gayle discussed his experience at the RCB and his friendship with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in an interview with CricketNext.com prior to the IPL 2023 auctions.
Over the years, some of cricket’s top stars, like Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers, have donned the Bengaluru-based team’s jersey and wowed fans of RCB with incredible performances.
Gayle played for RCB for 84 innings, scoring 3163 runs at 43.3, a 152.7 strike rate, five centuries, and 19 fifty-sixes.
Chris Gayle talked about his time there and his friendship with AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.
“We wanted to win the trophy but that didn’t just happen. I want to see that franchise lifting the cup. RCB will always be my team. I love that franchise and I’m glad that I was a part of it” Chris Gayle said when asked about his experience with RCB.
