Jason Roy marks a thunderous return to cricket by smashing 115 runs off 46 balls in England’s warm-up game against BCA President XI at Kensington Oval. The star English opener was out of action after tearing up his left calf muscle during the T20 World Cup.

The right-handed opener got injured during one of the games against South Africa and he was taken off the game. The hard-hitting batsman showcased his full match fitness for the 5-match T20I series against West Indies.

Jason Roy stitched a remarkable partnership of 141 runs off 61 balls with Tom Banton and England smashed 92 runs off the first six powerplays. From BCA President XI, Ashley Nurse took 2 wickets of Moeen Ali and Jason Roy within a span of 5 balls.

England easily registered a win in the game as their bowling attack dismissed the opponent at a score of 137 runs. Tymal Mills grabbed three wickets, Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan managed two each, and Reece Topley, Saqib Mahmood, and Liam Dawson also got their name mentioned in the wicket tally with a one-one wicket each.

West Indies had also defeated the same side by a big margin at the same venue. From West Indies, Brandon King finished as the top-scorer by scoring 38 runs with the willow.

Jason Roy scoring in top-form is good news for England ahead of the T20I series against West Indies. He will be eager to wear England’s jersey and once again rock the field with the bat.
