Steve Smith is all set to make a comeback for Australia in the 4th test of the Ashes

The ongoing ashes series has had a dramatic turn of events as both the teams have levelled ashes series at the moment. In the current ashes’ series of 2019, the 2nd test match was drawn but a very serious incident took place in the 2nd test match for Australia as their key batsman and the living legend Steve Smith got hit by a bouncer that was bowled by Jofra Archer.

Jofra Archer is very well-known by the world for generating serious pace and also injuring so many world class batsmen. He even stunned the whole cricketing world by bowling the fastest over in the history of test cricket on his debut.

After getting the Jofra’s bouncer, Steve Smith was scanned by the doctors and was suggested to rest for a week or more. Everybody got worried about his health even he himself told in an interview that after he got hit on the head the first thought that came into his mind was the death of Philip Hughes that occurred due to identical incident which was really scary for Mr. Steve Smith.

However, now Steve Smith is ready again and he is fit to return and play the fourth test match of the ashes’ series against England and all set to show his talent and make the game much better. In the previous 4 innings of the 1st two test matches he almost scored a century in every inning except for the last innings that he played during which he got injured. Australian fans are very pleased to see him again on ground and cheering for one of the finest cricketers from Australian side. 

Some more changes have also taken place as the out of form batsman Usman Khawaja has been left out of the squad along with the pace bowler James Pattinson. Their substitutes have been named as Marcus Labuschagne for Usman Khawaja and Mitchell Stark for James Pattinson. It will be the first match for Mitchell Stark in the series and he will be looking forward to give his best for the team along with Steve Smith.
