Recently, Sachin Tendulkar donated INR 1 Crores in order to give a boost to raise funds for the oxygen concentrators. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma started a fundraiser and asked everyone to join hands in order to help people suffering due to the 2nd COVID-19 wave.

They managed an amount of close to INR 6 Crores through their fundraiser and donated it to an NGO that is working day and night for the welfare of the people struggling for different things like oxygen concentrator, vaccination awareness, and telemedicine facilities. The adorable couple got a great response from every nook and corner in their fundraiser. People from different locations donated funds for such an overwhelming work.

Now, comes news that the power couple has helped an unknown guy with one of the costliest drugs in the world. There is a kid Ayansh Gupta, who was suffering from a disease called spinal muscular atrophy. In order to treat that disease, he required a drug name Zolgensma that costs around INR 16 Crores. And his parents started a fundraiser on social media on Twitter with the name,”‘AyaanshFightsSMA’.

Recently, the parents informed everyone that they have managed to get the funds raised for the costly drug. They also mentioned Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma for helping in raising funds.

The caption read, “Never thought that this arduous journey we set on to #saveayaanshgupta would culminate this beautifully. Happy to announce that we have reachd ₹16 Cr. needed to get #Zolgensma for #Ayaansh.  A big thank you to every person who supported us. This is your victory,” the account tweeted.
