Ronald Lutaaya remained the highest contributor for Uganda scoring 25 off 47 while their skipper, Pascal Murungi added 23 off 31.

In return, the Uganda bowlers put up a grit effort to restrict the UAE batters and were succeeding to do so but a couple of boundaries from Adhitya Shetty coming down the order made the difference for UAE. Joseph Baguma and Matthew Musinguzi bowled some stunning spells and bagged three scaps each while Edwin Nuwagaba picked two scalps.

There are no second doubts that Uganda U19 looks like the stronger and more well-settled side on paper and they are expected to come out on top of PNG U-19 in this fixture. They will be looking to win 13th place in the first semifinal and facing a much weaker team than their own will be an opportunity to cherish.

On the other hand, PNG U19 is yet struggling to garner a point on the points table. They faced a humiliating defeat as they got knocked over by West Indies U19 in their last fixture.
