‘Kohli Responsible For Loss,’- Fans Mock Indian Skipper, Australia Beats India In 3rd T20I By 12-Runs

Australia finally took a sigh of relief as they registered a close win by 12 runs against Team India in the final affair of the three-match T20I series. Matthew Wade and Glenn Maxwell emerged as stars in batting for hosts. On the other hand, their in-experience bowling unit put forward the best example of a team effort in the game. India vs Australia comes to an end with the latter losing it by 2-1. And, Virat Kohli was mocked by the fans for consistently failing to finish games for Team India

Indian skipper got off the mark with a win during the toss. He invited Australia to bat first and hosts got to a flyer in the first over. Matthew Wade smacked 9 runs off Deepak Chahar. But, in the very next over Washington Sundar took the first breakthrough of the game by dismissing dangerous Aussie skipper Aaron Finch. Soon Steve Smith was also dismissed by the same bowler.

Virat Kohli Again Fails To Finish Game For Team India

Coming from behind, Australian batsman Matthew Wade and Glenn Maxwell brought their side back into the game. They stitched a brilliant partnership that took Australia to a mammoth total of 186. Wade scored 80 runs whereas Maxwell managed a quick fifty with his willow.

Coming onto the chase, Team India got off to the worse possible start during the chase. They lost their vice-captain, KL Rahul, on the second delivery of the game off Glenn Maxwell. Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli then sailed Team India’s ship close to the target. They stitched a good partnership of 74 runs before Swepson helped his team in getting a crucial breakthrough. He dismissed southpaw as Daniel Sams taking a world-class catch in the deep.

Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer’s poor form continued in the final game as well. The former got out after scoring 10 whereas the latter failed to open his account in the game. All the responsibility then came onto the shoulders of Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. They entertained spectators with some fireworks on the field.

Australia looked on the backfoot till 14 overs but Adam Zampa brought his side back into the game once again. He dismissed Hardik Pandya in the 18th over. Andre Tye then dismissed Virat Kohli, who scored 85 runs, in the penultimate over of the game. And, the hopes of Indian fans to watch India imposing a whitewash in the shorter format series collapsed. In the end, Men in Blue managed 174 runs for a loss of seven wickets in stipulated 20 overs. And, Kohli once again failed to finish the game for Team India.
