The cricket fever is going to touch its all-time high with the Road Safety World Series. Cricket fans should get ready to witness their star former players like Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Virender Sehwag once again plying their traits in the cricket match. The inaugural season of the World Road Safety series was played organized in the year 2020. But due to his rise in Covid-19 cases forced the organizers to indefinitely postpone the tournament.
There were reports that the organizers will start the tournament from scratch. However, that is not the case as they will take the previous edition left part forward in the ongoing year. A total of confirmed teams that will take part in this tournament are India Legends, South Africa Legends, West Indies Legends, and Sri Lanka Legends.
Australia Legends have pulled out of the tournament. But, England or Bangladesh might fill up the void in the tournament created by the Aussie side. Earlier, the tournament was played in Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. But this time Road Safety World series will be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. In the end, a total of four teams will lock horns in their respective semi-finals in order to qualify for the finals.
