Mohammad Nabi has been an incredible asset in the world of T20 cricket, having featured in 355 matches and collected 5203 runs with a 137.64 strike rate. He has also taken 322 wickets with an economy of 6.99.

For the West Indies in ODIs, Shai Hope has demonstrated his ability to deliver. He has been the anchor at the top of the order and played the core job with perfection. Although the wicketkeeper-batter has shown promise in the shorter format, his performance has not been up to par.

Hope has scored 1231 runs in 63 matches at a strike rate of 118.93 and has a total of 304 runs in 19 T20Is at a strike rate of 121.11. Consequently, the top-order batter is likely to be overlooked in the upcoming IPL auction.

At the 2022 auction, Hope set his base price at INR 50 lakh, but still, no franchise showed interest in signing him. With his base price set at the INR 1 crore bracket for the IPL 2023 auction, it is highly unlikely that he will get any bidders.

Luke Wood has made a name for himself in the England domestic circuit as a promising fast bowler. After participating in 60 first-class matches and taking 132 wickets with an average of 35.18, he went on to showcase his prowess in the shorter format, where he took 74 wickets in 82 games at an economy of 8.36.

The left-arm pacer continued to impress in The Hundred 2022, snagging 10 wickets in nine games with an economy of 8.25. Wood will be up for grabs in the upcoming 2023 IPL auction, with a base price of INR 1 crore.

However, since he has only played three international games, he lacks the experience of playing in higher-profile tournaments, which may deter franchises from picking him up.
