The Indian cricket team is looming with several injury cases and they just had 13 players left after the 2nd ODI. Skipper Rohit Sharma was ruled out of the 3rd ODI because of an injured thumb and he will be returning to Mumbai as per the guidance of the BCCI medical team.
Deepak Chahar too suffered a hamstring injury in the 2nd ODI and will be heading back home. Kuldeep Sen who was quite impressive in his debut ODI in the 1st game was ruled out of the 2nd ODI because of a stress injury. He has been ruled out of the Indian cricket team as well.
As a back-up option, the BCCI has added Kuldeep Yadav to the squad of the Indian cricket team. Keeping in mind the slow and sluggish conditions of Bangladesh, Kuldeep could be drafted into the playing XI in the 3rd ODI.
KL Rahul will be spearheading the Indian cricket team in the 3rd ODI. There are high chances that either of Rahul Tripathi or Rajat Patidar be given their debut cap in the 3rd ODI. India has already lost the ODI series after Bangladesh took a 2-0 unassailable lead in the series.
Both the first 2 ODIs have been close encounters and went down to the fire. Mehidy Hasan Miraz struck a century in the first game and has hogged the limelight in this series. KL Rahul’s Indian cricket team would be wary of his stupendous performances.

Mohammad Siraj too has been in hot form with the ball and has taken 5 wickets with the white cherry in this series so far. He also became India’s highest wicket-taker in ODIs in 2022 in the last game.
