The penultimate Match Week of the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 is over and we witnessed some exciting encounters. A total of 3 teams confirmed their places in the playoffs in this exciting and intriguing Match Week.

ATK Mohun Bagan sealed a place in the playoffs after their 2-1 victory over Kerala Blasters FC at the Salt Lake Stadium.

After FC Goa lost to Chennaiyin FC, both Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters advanced to the next stage in ISL 2022-23.

East Bengal FC miraculously defeated ISL 2022-23 League Shield Winners Mumbai City FC on their own turf. The score-line read 1-0 and Naorem Mahesh Singh found his name on the goal-scoring sheet. This was Mahesh’s second goal in ISL 2022-23.

Odisha FC defeated NorthEast United FC 3-1 and took a step closer to their ISL 2022-23 playoff spot. They now need just 1 point in their next game against Jamshedpur FC.

Aidy Boothroyd’s Men of Steel punched above their weight and outclassed Hyderabad FC. 3-2. Even though the ISL’s leading goal-scorer Bartholomew Ogbeche netted a brace, Hyderabad FC couldn’t grab those 3 points.

Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC will be locking horns against each other in the 1st semi-final since they will be finishing the league stage in the 1st and the 2nd positions respectively.
