The 33rd Minecraft Championship (MCC) is rapidly approaching, and fans are buzzing with anticipation. The event will occur on August 5, 2023.
40 content producers will compete in 10 teams over a series of minigames to win coins. This is similar to the earlier versions of the event.
The two top-scoring teams will then square off for the overall competition’s championship.
The lack of verified teams or players has prevented Minecraft fans from choosing a side to support despite their excitement for the tournament.
However, now, the Noxcrew organisers revealed the first five participating teams on July 27, 2023, and they agreed to reveal the remaining five on July 28.
Minecraft fans may start to watch the tournament take shape now that there are five confirmed teams and 20 players.
Minecraft Championship (MCC) 33 Teams
The five content creator teams that have officially confirmed their participation in the Minecraft Championship include well-known names from prior tournaments.
No newcomers have been declared as part of any team’s roster up to this point, although that might change when the final five teams are announced on July 28.
However, in keeping with MCC tradition, the squad lineups have been changed to prevent content creators from playing on the same team in consecutive tournaments.
Given that many of the competitors already have fan bases, the announced team rosters should attract a large number of Minecraft lovers to watch the competition.
Lineups for the Minecraft Championship 33 announced so far:
- Red Rabbits – Sapnap, Ponk, Punz, vGumiho
- Orange Ocelots – Pearlescentmoon, OwengeJuice, Jojosolos, Aimsey
- Yellow Yaks – CaptainSparklez, Fruitberries, Shadoune666, TheOrionSound
- Lime Llamas – Guqqie, OllieGamerz, Purpled, Snifferish
- Green Geckos – DarkEyebrows, Krinios, Ph1LzA, Ranboo
The last 20 competitors will be announced on July 28. It is difficult to predict which side would prevail without knowing the lineup of minigames in which the contestants will participate and who the remaining teams will be.
