Free Fire fans are anxiously anticipating the battle of the best as the Free Fire World Series 2023 draws near. 

A memorable display of gaming greatness is promised thanks to the tournament’s distinctive structure and slot distribution, which guarantee a competitive playing field with a wide range of players.

The best 18 teams from different regions will be assembled for the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2023, which is expected to attract spectators across the globe. 

The tournament, which will be hosted by Garena, will take place in Thailand from November 10 through November 26 of 2023.

Free Fire World Series 2023 Venue

Thailand will host the FFWS in 2023, making it the perfect location for the spectacular exhibition of talent and cooperation.

This edition will feature a revised format that will replace the previous one-day Play-Ins with a six-day Group Stage. 

The Grand Finale will also last three days, offering spectators and competitors alike additional opportunities to get involved in the tournament.

18 teams will be split into three groups for the thrilling Group Stage, which will take place from November 10 through November 19. 

These teams will battle against one another over the course of six match days in a Round Robin style. The top 12 teams will proceed to the Grand Finals after 36 matches.

From November 24 through 26, 12 top teams will engage in ferocious competition in 18 matches to win the Grand Finals. The winning team will get a stunning trophy and a significant cash prize.

Free Fire World Series 2023 Slot Distribution

Based on the competing teams’ regional criteria, slots have been assigned. The following is the slot distribution:

  • Brazil: 3 slots
  • Latin America (LATAM): 3 slots
  • Thailand: 3 slots
  • Indonesia: 2 slots
  • Vietnam: 2 slots
  • Middle East and Africa (MEA): 1 slot
  • Pakistan: 1 slot
  • To Be Announced: 2 slots

Scoring System

The FFWS 2023’s point system is unchanged. When a team scores a Booyah during a game, they get 12 points. 

The teams who finish in second and third place receive 9 and 8 points, respectively. The squad will get one point for each kill earned throughout the competition.
