BGIS 2023: 54 Teams Suspended Further – Find Out Why

Date:

Another 54 teams from the current Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2023) have been disqualified by Krafton.

Krafton had already banned 155 teams for violating the BGIS Rulebook a few weeks before. The organization once again adopted a stern position towards teams who used illegitimate advantages during the prior phase.

On September 14, 2023, the tournament’s third round is scheduled to start with 256 teams participating.

The teams were disqualified this time around mostly for breaking Sections 6.2.4 and 4.1 of the Rulebook. Krafton cited:

“Attention undergods, the following teams have breached the BGIS Rulebook, specifically Sections 6.2.4, and 4.1, as well as the BGIS Code of Conduct. As a result, the teams have been disqualified from the BGIS competition.”
