One of the oldest esports groups in India is called Godlike Esports. Since the very first esports competition, it has had a Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) squad, which was once the Players Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) roster.

Godlike Esports founder Chetan “Kronten” Chandgude recently disclosed that the team’s BGMI lineup may undergo some modifications.

One of the well-known esports organizations is Godlike Esports. Since the start of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2022 Season 1, the team’s performance has not been as strong as it once was.

Kronten recently posted on Instagram to let followers know that the BGMI lineup would be changing in the future. He issued a message on Instagram that stated,

“Hey guys, just wanted to share a quick update about the BGMI team. Expect a few changes within the team. I will be addressing the next update soon on my live stream. Stay tuned.”

Changes to GodLike Esports’ BGMI Roster

Fans noted that a few members of Godlike Esports, including Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare and Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, updated their Instagram bios and deleted the phrase “esports athlete” for Godlike Esports after Kronten’s statement was released.

Neyoos’ bio, which formerly identified him as an esports athlete with Godlike Esports, has recently been altered to reflect this.

Fans subsequently questioned whether these athletes were the ones being cut from the squad.

Godlike Esports made this decision after being disqualified from BGMS 2023 Season 2 and BGIS 2023. Throughout BGMS 2023 Season 2, it had displayed performances that were subpar.

However, after dominating the opening rounds of BGIS 2023 and having a strong start, it was ultimately defeated in Round 3.

Godlike Esports was observed competing in current events like the OS Invitational and Upthrust Pro Showdown with a variety of players, and it appears that the organization has begun experimenting with new players for the squad.

A few games in BGMS 2023 Season 2 and BGIS 2023 were played by Godlike Esports without its normal In Game Leader (IGL), Arjun “Shadow” Mandhalkar.

The public is eagerly awaiting further information on the squad changes from Godlike Esports or Kronten.
