    Labuschagne's Cigarette Signal

Australia and South Africa are playing their third and final Pink Ball Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Australia has won two of the three test matches in the series, which has been very one-sided.

Australia won the toss in Sydney and decided to bat after taking an unstoppable 2-0 lead. Early success came from Anrich Nortje (2-26), who in the fourth over had David Warner (10) caught by Marco Jansen at slip. At this point, Australia was 12-1, but Usman Khawaja and Labuschagne build a strong partnership.

An unusual thing occurred while Khwaja and Labuschagne were on the crease. As the loose pieces inside his helmet were obstructing his eyesight, Labuschagne was having some issues with it. To fix it, he requested a cigarette lighter. Everyone was initially puzzled by Labuschagne’s strange action, but as they watched the batter fix his helmet, everyone there, including the commentators, started to laugh.
