The WPL 2023 Auction is expected to be a thrilling occasion because some of the top names in women’s cricket will be up for auction.

    With the upcoming WPL 2023 auction, there are several U19 stars who are expected to get some massive bids from teams. As the countdown for the auction begins, here are five such U19 stars who are tipped to get some of the biggest bids at the WPL 2023 auction:

    Shafali Verma (India)

    A name to keep an eye out for in the WPL 2023 Auction is the teenage sensation from India, who stunned everyone with her blazing batting in the U19 World Cup. She is an aggressive batswoman who can easily clear the boundary and can end the game for the opposition in just a few overs. Franchises will be keen to hire her for their squad as she is guaranteed to catch their interest.

    Shweta Sehrawat (India)

    Sehrawat had a flawless tournament because she finished with 297 runs, which led the field. She had a remarkable strike rate of 139.43 and averaged 99. She contributed significantly to India’s successful World Cup run in South Africa by scoring three half century. She hit a stunning 92* against the South African hosts in the opening match, and she continued to play at an elite level for the remainder of the tournament.

    Parshavi Chopra (India)

    With 11 wickets in the six games she appeared in, Parshavi Chopra finished second overall and first for India in the competition.     Shorna Akter, who represented Bangladesh, wowed everyone with her powerhouse-hitting abilities. With 153 runs at a stellar average of 51, she finished the tournament as Bangladesh’s top run scorer. Additionally, she achieved a remarkable strike rate of 157.73.
