The 2023 Fortnite Lantern Festival has begun and it brings with it new cosmetics, and free rewards as part of the new event that Epic Games has unveiled for the game.
The celebration began on March 22 and will continue until April 21. Fortnite players will be able to obtain four free cosmetic items throughout this period.
Additionally, a unique island for the Lantern Fest Tour will be made available by Epic and include a number of challenges.
A contest for in-game photographs is part of the most recent event in Fortnite. There will be 15 winners in all. Each one will get a free extra cosmetic.
The new Creative island is an excellent feature that has been added to this year’s Fortnite Lantern Fest.
Fortnite creative island rewards
Given how much this mode has improved over the last year, it has been possible for Epic The new island, which Illusion Creative created, is crucial for obtaining all of the free cosmetics.
You must finish the unique tasks on the Creative island if you want to unlock them.
The following four rewards are available for free:

- Cameo Needs Loot Emoticon

- Twilight Mosaic Wrap

- Race Rumble
- Flawless Fashion
The new island, which Illusion Creative created, is crucial for obtaining all of the free cosmetics. You must finish the unique tasks on the Creative island.
The island’s initial section will be made public very soon, and Epic Games will add a second section on April 6 at 10 AM Eastern Time.
Lantography contest
Additionally, you may participate in the Lantography competition to win the “Cameo Needs Loot” emoticon, which will be awarded to the 15 winners. To participate, players must be a minimum of 13 years of age.
You must snap a screenshot of the Battle Royale island’s in-game lanterns and post it on social media with the hashtag #LantographyContest2023.
Participants must follow the @fortniteME Twitter account in order to be eligible for the rewards.
On or before March 30, each entry must be submitted. The contest starts on March 23 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
