The much-awaited UEFA Nations League Finals will be taking place between Croatia and Spain. These are two teams that played the entire tournament in a clinical fashion and are now one step away from achieving glory and prestige.
Spain and Croatia will lock horns in the finals at the Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The match is slated to begin from 12:15 AM (IST) on 19th June 2023.
The FIFA World Cup 2010 champions defeated Italy in the semi-finals, 2-1. Yeremy Pino and Joselu had netted the goals for the Spanish side. On the other hand, Croatia defeated Netherlands in the semi-finals and denied them an opportunity to play in front of their home crowd in the finals.
Andrej Kramaric, Mario Pasalic, Bruno Petkovic and Luka Modric netted the goals for Croatia. After the end of regulation time when the two sides couldn’t be separated, the match was gearing towards a close and tight finish.
But in the end, Croatia kept their nerves and registered a victory while being under the pump. The last two goals were scored by the Croatians during extra-time and they booked a ticket in the finals at the Feyenoord Stadium.
The semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League will be taking place between Netherlands and Italy on 18th June 2023. It is slated to begin from 6:30 PM (IST).
