Blind Esports has won the Battleground Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 champions title. Even if the squad performed admirably all through 2023, they had not won a championship.
But things turned around for them in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series, where they were steadfast from the start. They have received a prize money award of ₹40 lakh.
In league stages, Blind Esports came in second place. They finished the first day of the finals in second place as well, and on the second day they performed even better.
They ascended to the top spot, continued to rule on the third day, and finished the competition with an outstanding 249 points from 18 games.
Due to his outstanding accomplishments, their main athlete, Spower, was named the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series MVP.
BMPS 2023
During the tournament, Gladiator Esports once again showed their extraordinary abilities, finishing in second place with 221 points. Even though the squad had a poor start to the finals and was initially ranked sixth, they showed incredible consistency.
On the second day, they ascended to the second place and were able to hold it to finish the tournament as the runners-up.
Third place went to Insane Esports with 176 points. Having dominated the league stage, Insane Esports started day 1 of the playoffs in fifth place.
On the second day of the tournament, they made great progress, moving up to third, and on the third and last day, they fought valiantly to hold that position. It was decided that Insane Aadi was the best IGL of the competition.
After the first day of the BMPS Finals, Entity Gaming was leading the field; nonetheless, they finished fourth overall. In the meantime, after two difficult days, the reigning champions and crowd favorites Team Soul performed admirably on the third day.
They scored 158 points overall, which included two chicken dinners and an incredible 98 points on day three, propelling them to fifth place.
